Kari Campbell,
Owner
An accomplished opera singer, my educational background is in vocal performance.
Having toured through Japan, Europe and the United States, I have performed with
several opera companies and orchestras. Although my education and singing
experiences have been very rewarding my lifelong dream has been to work with
animals. From early childhood to adulthood animals have played an important role in my
life.
I became a volunteer with Friends of Pets, joining the
Board of Directors in 2000, I have served as the Membership Chair,
Rescue/Foster/Adoption Committee Chair, and held the offices of President, Vice President,
Treasurer and Secretary.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Dirk and we have two children, Cassi 20
and Colton 19. The four of us are owned by four dogs, Abby, Franklin, Maddie & Tobe, and
three cats, Pennies, Sammy & Winston.
Seeing my dream of working with animals on a professional level come to fruition
is by far my greatest accomplishment. We plan to expand Dog Tired sometime in the
future and look forward to meeting the needs of more of
Anchorage’s furry friends.
