Hi Peg & Kari,

If I haven't already mentioned, I love having our dogs at Dog Tired Daycare. Your staff is

very friendly, I look forward to dropping off and picking up the dogs just as much as they

love being there! Thanks for all the loving care you guys provide for them during the day

while we are at work and the kids are at school. I couldn't be happier with the service

you provide!

Thanks,
Raenette Yangson

Kari, Peg, Jessica and Staff,

I can’t thank you enough. Hailey and Riley get into something about once a month

now that they’ve figured out how to sneak into cabinets and the pantry. Every time

we think we’ve dog-proofed better than imaginable, they prove us wrong. If it wasn’t

a doggy daycare day they might not have made it, really. I had no idea how much

chocolate they ate. The wrappers were not a good indicator (they ate most of those

too). I would have been grateful if you called me when Riley threw up, but you called

before that. You called as soon as you noticed something was different.

I was able to get the dogs home and induce vomiting right away. Hailey puked for

about 2 minutes straight, right down to the bile. Riley fought it like a trooper.

Unfortunately that wasn’t the type fighting I needed. With some coaxing he eventually

threw up 3-4 times more, pure chocolate, then he started shaking and wouldn’t lift up

his head even though he was standing. That’s when I knew he was more than just

sick and I lost it. I called the vet in tears and they had me bring him in right away.

They induced vomiting again, fed him charcoal and put him on an IV for about 4

hours. When he came out at 7, he was as good as new (well he thought he was,

bounding around like a puppy).

I still can’t believe how much chocolate came out of him. Like I said if it wasn’t a

doggie daycare day, I may have come home at 5 and been devastated. Thank you

so much for taking such good care of my babies. I would have been crushed if

something happened to them. I know you understand how much someone can

love their dogs. Those two really are our children. Please thank Jessica for noticing

that Riley was bloated and drinking too much water. You all are so caring, it means

the world to me. I’m so so so so so sorry I dropped my sick dogs off and they made

a mess. Next time they get into something I won’t leave them for you to take care of.

Josh is staying home with Hailey and Riley today to keep an eye on them and make

sure they continue on to a full recovery, which the vet indicated he expected. He said

that since Riley was so lethargic and his heart rate was so high, I’m lucky we caught

it so quickly. And by lucky, I really know that means lucky to have Dog Tired around

who love my dogs so much.

Dear Kari,

I don't think Dog Tired has any reason to feel that their loyal parents will have

any complaint with the new rates. I know I am new to your parent group - but

I have experienced other daycare facilities with my girls and there is no comparison.

You offer excellence that is well worth paying for.

Thank you again

Dear Kari,

We made it safely to Utah. The beagles do miss you all. I can tell. They hate for

us to leave them at all and have resorted to baying (lots) when we do. If ever you

consider opening a shop here, you've got three beagles on the waiting list!

Hugs,

Dear Kari,

Your Dog Tired Doggie Daycare Center has been such an unexpected miracle for

me and my dogs.

I have had some health challenges in the past few years.  My one worry has been

what might happen to Aurora & Frazier if something happened to me.  Aurora would

be able to find a home easily.  Frazier is a very complicated sophisticated complex

dear and could be misunderstood. For him not to have a good home because I did not

know how to train him well would have been such a tragedy.  He and Aurora deserve the

best.  Being "socialized" at your daycare center has been such a blessing.  Both dogs

are much happier, more at ease, bark less and are more confident on a deeper level.

How you did all that I do not know.  You transformed my dears when I could not.  And

Frazier is now "adoptable" and I do not have to worry.

You have created the most wonderful experience for many species to experience

growth and healing and love.  Thank you.  You are a magnificent Soul.

Always,

Karen Cameron

Kari,

I always thought the idea of "Doggie Daycare" as a ridiculous extravagance invented

by slightly demented dog owners whose dogs were substitutes for children.  I MUST

ADMIT I WAS WRONG and apologize profusely to all those caring pet owners that I

slandered in my mind.

The reason for my change in attitude is a sweet rescue pug named Bubba.  I describe

Bubba as the most expensive "Free" dog on the planet.  Bubba came to me with issues:

toilet training issues, abandonment issues, separation anxiety, the list can go on and on.

I had custody of Bubba for a couple of months and was working through his issues with

limited success. His problems always seemed to be exacerbated when I was at work or

could not keep him with me. I was at my wits end until I found doggie daycare.

The staff at Dog Tired Doggie Daycare has been wonderful.  They have helped Bubba to

resolve many of his issues and have shown great consideration for me.  If I go to work

then Bubba goes to daycare.  I know he is safe and happy.

Thank you to all the staff at DOG TIRED for making Bubba's world a happier place, for

helping him to have the confidence to move forward and become the Zen dog he was always

meant to be.

Sincerely,

Robin Cantando

Kari,

I am lucky enough to have living with me a 9-year old Border Collie named Spice.  He

and I have shared many joys, but also MANY woes that we need not go into detail about,

suffice it to say, that without the ladies at DOG TIRED, Spice and I many not be together

today.  We have been to many daycares in Anchorage and have found, to our mutual delight, that not only does your facility suit our mutual needs (his: no grooming noises,

and an understanding staff and mine: close to work and most importantly

HE IS SO HAPPY THERE!

Fondly,

Dear Kari,

I was delighted to hear you opened a doggie daycare facility in Anchorage.  With your animal care background and public relations skills there is no doubt this will be a successful venture.

I look forward to utilizing your services for my own dog, Louis Vuitton, "the most amazing poodle".  I also feel confident in recommending other utilize doggy daycare for their canine companions.  It has been shown to be a positive experience for both dog and owner alike.

Regards,
